Araco Interiors is pleased to welcome Tala to our lighting portfolio.
Tala is a British-design lighting brand known for treating the light source itself as the object worth looking at. Where most decorative lighting hides the bulb, Tala makes it the centrepiece — mouth-blown glass, sculptural filaments and matte porcelain finishes that read as considered objects whether the light is on or off.
What the collection covers
The range now live at Araco Interiors spans the full breadth of Tala's catalogue:
- Pendants — from single hanging pendants to triple, five and nine-pendant cluster fixtures, with cord sets in solid brass, stainless steel, graphite, oak and walnut.
- Wall lights — including the architectural Kilter 1.0 and Kilter 2.0 wall lights and sconces, the IP44-rated Lochan, and the cast aluminium Muse wall light.
- Table and floor lamps — the turned-timber Knuckle lamps, the Alumina multi-use lamp, the mouth-blown Shore and the ceramic Heath, alongside the telescopic Poise floor lamp.
- Portable lamps — the rechargeable, cordless Muse, Rugged Muse and Mantle, designed to move between table, terrace and doorway.
- Decorative bulbs — the Voronoi, Sphere, Oval and Porcelain families, plus the Kilter and Light Engine technical sources.
Design details worth knowing
A few pieces carry stories worth repeating. The Echo Chandelier is part of the Echo range designed by David Weeks for Tala — intersecting steel cylinders suspended with seven matte white Sphere IV bulbs, arranged to read like a cloud of light. The Bower pendants use hand-spun steel shades made in Yorkshire. The Heath table lamp takes its cue from the Victorian chimney pots on London's skyline, crafted in Portugal from locally sourced earthenware.
Across the fixtures, Tala's dim-to-warm light sources shift toward a warmer colour temperature as they dim, which is what makes them sit comfortably in living rooms and dining spaces rather than feeling clinical.
