Buster + Punch was founded in an East London garage by architect and industrial designer Massimo Buster Minale, and that origin still shows. The fitting combines machined and cast solid metal with hand-blown glass; nothing about it is decorative veneer. Each finish is worked by hand: solid brass lacquered to age gracefully into a deeper golden tone, crisp stainless steel that stays exactly as it left the box, and a durable gun metal PVD with a dark, easy-to-clean lustre.

Light quality is the point of this configuration: expect a clean, functional ambient light — the hand-blown opal glass diffuses the bulb evenly, giving genuinely useful illumination without a hint of glare. The large globe carries real presence. It holds its own in generous hallways, above dining tables and in double-height entrances, and reads as a piece of sculpture even when switched off.
